Study Tools Care Guide
Simple habits that keep a study setup ready for the next session.
Paper and notebooks
Store paper products flat or upright without bending their corners. Keep them away from spills, damp areas and prolonged direct sun. Close notebooks before placing them in a bag.
Writing and marking tools
Replace caps after use where fitted and protect exposed tips. Test a writing or highlighting tool on a spare area before marking an important page. Follow any instructions supplied with the item.
Cases, folders and tabs
Avoid overfilling cases and folders. Keep closures free from trapped paper. Apply page markers to clean, dry pages and remove gently; test first on delicate or valuable paper.
Rulers and bookstands
Store straight tools where they will not be bent. Place a bookstand on a stable, level surface and check that the book is supported before use. Keep fingers clear of moving joints.
Cleaning and safe use
Check supplied care guidance before cleaning. Use a gentle dry wipe where suitable and avoid unverified chemical cleaners or soaking. Keep small parts away from young children, take care around pointed tips and stop using damaged items.
